Hello all,
I am 22 years old and I am at the end of my rope with this thing I really need some advice.
Over the last couple years or so I have completely lost my libido and ability to maintain or even get an erection. I feel Tired ALL the time and frequently have to take naps in the afternoon like an old man. I cannot 'perform' with girls at all and It is destroying my life. I is EXTREMELY difficult for me to EVEN MASTURBATE. Oh and I have never done any steroid cycle before...
I saw a doc and had blood work, and my test was at 669.7 ng/dl... I thought this was strange... I mean I have all the symptoms of SOME type of hormonal imbalance:
1.) tired ALL the time 2.) Bad E.D. / no sex drive 3.)gain weight (fat) extremely EASILY 4.)trouble sleeping 5.) foggy thinking 6.) TERRIBLE memory, I seriously can't remember anything. I always repeat stuff to people because I forget that I already told them...
I had another test on friday in which tsh,t3,t4 and free test will be tested. An interesting thing about my first test is that albumin was tested. According to my research, albumin plays a role in binding testosterone? Well I had a level of 5.0 on a reference range with a MAX of 5.0 Does this indicate low free t?
If the doctor says everything is 'normal' again, then I think I am going to start self medicating with testosterone (maybe 250mg/week) or anti-estrogens (does putting on weight on the love handles indicate high e?). What would happen if I started using an AI or Nolva?
Before you say "do you even lift", yes I lift, I have been seriously lifting and training for 7 years (distance runner as well). I am 5' 8 and 160 pounds. I Deadlift 315x12, bench 185x8, squat 200x8. I also run long distance.
Just got my results back from another test and my free t was at 12.5pg/ml on a scale of 5-40. Converting this to ng/dl is 1.3 ng/dl. I looked at t levels by age and for my age group at 22 should be around 12.3 ng/dl. According to this table I have less free test than a 100 year old man... Is this incorrect? Opinions?
I am primarily concerned with the libido Issue, here so If I could get some insight into how I can reconcile this that would be great. I have lost tons of opportunities to get a GF lately. I don't feel like I used too just a few years ago, I want to feel like that again... lots of energy and sex lol
