And I was a very active helper, back in 07-09. Writing diets for members, teaching form, lab checks ex.. (not that I was the ultimate guru or anything)

Unfortunately (for you), it's based on post count. There's currently no title in place based on length of membership; that system would be flawed in that somebody could join, never log on again and still continue to progress through titles. Conversely, I understand your reasoning; somebody could simply post-whore a bunch of useless crap and be given a title. Lesser of 2 evils I suppose.

This is offset to some degree however by the newer 'colored' titles. While the basic ones (e.g. new member; senior member; anabolic member, etc.) are generated automatically based on post count, the colored titles (e.g. productive and/or knowledgeable - blue and red, respectively) are given to members who are specifically noted (by staff and/or admin) as having earned them.

So, you could be a new member with 50 posts but really know your shit and make an impression here - and may be turned blue or red - while other members may have 10,000 posts (and the auto generated title) but no color.

Bit of an over-explanation, but I hope it helps.

Actually makes a ton of sense. I have noticed a ton of members welcome me back with open arms, and a ton of new members show support and respect. I really like the direction this site is going as far as newer members (who are knowledgeable) and willing to teach novices.

And so far every colored title holder has been very nice towards me. So I really appreciate it bros.

Unfortunately there will still be trolls on every forum. But being a member for a long time its so easy to see who's genuine and who's fraud.
