i love reading this thread"the shower head trick" , that made me laugh, i never heard of that. a friend up my brother a long long time ago used to stick the eraser end of a pencil up his pucker to loosen up the clay. i always thought that was astronomically idiotic. anyhow... as said above coffee should be a helpful remedy. caffeine is a poo agitator.

I'm seriously surprised nobody recommended this yet. I got surgery and took the vicodin without the stool softener they gave me and didnt poop for a few days, drank some of this stuff (takes like fizzy bland orange soda) and in a few hours I shat somethin out that legit, looked like a butt plug.
Almost shit my pants today after a solid cup of black coffe lmao!
Black coffee is my choice as well, 2-3 cups. Coffee is a good diuretic, make sure to drink lots of water too.

Coffee or caffine typically do it for me, but a good jog also does the trick. I'm ready to drop whatever's in there after a run.
Something that works great for me is a McDonalds big mac. I rarely eat them and when I do within 2 hrs I'm spending making trips ever 1hr or less to the john.
For quick relief go with the good old trusted source. Warm prune juice. Yes warm works better than cold. you can also add a little epson salt to get things moving. Not rock salt but Epson Salts.
Miralax is good as a daily maintenance if you have continued problems.
