Touch of acne on cycle. Starting with Serm, but will it mess up my PCT?

    This is my current cycle.

Stats and progress are also posted in that thread.

Noticed just a touch of acne on my chest. Wondering if I ought to start with Tamox in addition to my current anastrozole protocol. My last cycle, I had some moderate acne toward the end and through PCT. This time, I feel like I ought to try and get out in front of it now, and nip it in the bud. There are no other symptoms thus far, other than night sweats and a little extra aggression.

I'm worried that if I start taking Tamox now, if it will still be effective for PCT since I'd essentially be doing my PCT protocol now? Should I just not worry about a little acne? Is it a symptom of extra prolactin and/or excess estrogen?

Perhaps drop the Tamox when/if acne is controlled... but what if it isn't?

Cycle acne is mainly due to hormones fluctuating. I see no benifit to using a SERM on cycle for acne control. Manage your E2 and use a good body wash.

Supplementing with Zinc and B5 will help.

Ok, do you think I ought to increase my Anastrozole dosage to deal with the fluctuations?

If the only side effect you are experiencing is acne..then no. Take care of the acne by other means such as body washes and supplements like Austin suggested. No need to keep throwing more hormone altering compounds at it.

Sounds like a plan. I guess I'm paranoid... Lat time by the time I got to PCT I had it all over my back and shoulders. Took months to clear up.

I get post cycle bad as well. It is part of the game unfortunatly. Look into accutane if you are that concerned.

I dont want to be a dick, and by no means am I trying to be. You've been here much longer than me, and have many more posts than me, and by no means do I think I know more than you about this topic.

But, what about your physique made you think you were ready to cycle?

I'm 30 pounds heavier than I was when I graduated high school, yet as lean or leaner as then or ever. I stopped making appreciable gains a couple years ago naturally, despite lifting and dieting my ass off. Understand that not everyone is as genetically gifted as you. I don't know you either, but I'm willing to bet I've trained harder and for much longer than you have, for a small fraction of the gains which came relatively easy to you.
I am very small/skinny by design. Considering my weight and size, I think I did pretty damn well naturally, thank you very much.

I appreciate that man, and thanks for saying so. Obviously, it's a major sore spot with me.
I have always wanted to be strong and muscular since I was a kid, but it's been the most frustrating journey. I can get fat with no problem, and diet down to nothingness easily too... but keep/gain muscle? Forget it! I'm stubborn though, gonna keep trying.

Ya I seem to get Acne mostly located on my chest too, however I don't get it until during PCT. So needless to say that SERM isn't going to help. I live by two showers a day and I think that helps, especially if your skin is oily. Vitamins and Zinc like Austinite said, and stay away from sugar and greasy food.

I'm gonna go for some Zinc and B5. Seems an inexpensive, no risk thing to try. And yeah, major shower-age daily. Need to start showering in the A.M. too when I get up, that's when my bod is all greasy from sweating all night.
