    Hernia.................got one

    Upper groin area about half the size of a golf ball...................

    Guess Ive been hitting the abs alittle to hard......felt it give last night on decline crutches

    This morning I noticed a lump........

    Ok guys?

    How long can I keep lifting? In most improved contest and Im not giving up

    I had to have mine fixed within a week or 2 of noticing it. During that time it grew from a golf ball to a fist and got to be excruciating. If its an inguinal hernia (which it sounds like) the risk of continuing training is that when its protruding out of your diaphragm your intestine can be strangled and lose blood flow and die.

    Sorry to be the grim reaper papa but go to the doc and get it checked.

    DAMNIT!!! I Fing knew it............ What if I stop abs and just did cardio and normal routine..............Im sooooooooooooooo close !!

    I also have had an inguinal hernia too mine was also golf ball size and in 1 month from continued lifting it was softball size. No pain really except when I re ripped the opening, once they do the surgery the sow in a mesh and good news you will not get another hernia on that side again. But it can happen on the opposite side bad news lol. But get it fixed befor it grows you will heal much quicker.

    More than likely that it wasn't a ab workout that did it heavy lifting like squats,bench,snatches etc.
