    Belkin NetCam

Belkin NetCam Wireless IP Camera for Tablet and Smartphone with Night Vision and Digital Audio:Amazon:Camera & Photo

If anyone is interested in an inexpensive way to watch over your house when you're away, you might find this useful. It's a small camera that you set up in your home and will email you two pictures should any movement occur. The camera comes on a small stand. You place it somewhere that gives the view you want. Plug it in. 5 minute set up-plugs in and connects to your wi fi. You "enable" motion detector as you leave and you're set. Anytime, you can view a live stream and turn on audio. The pictures are pretty clear and it has night vision. There's a few more things it does, but I won't bore you
with the details. I purchased it on amazon for $90 +
shipping. I see the price has increased. Anyway...

lol...ok. I guess there are a lot of better ones out there. I had never heard of this 'til I saw a local news story a couple weeks ago about a woman who's house was being robbed. She got the emails, called police, and they caught them in the act. So, I just ordered one right there on the spot. Anyway, hopefully I'll never need it. And, of course I can spy on my wife and make sure she doesn't have any male "company".

I have 3 of the Panasonic BL-C 1A in my house and they have never failed me in 5 years. I picked them up for around $50 each. Outside I have 8 cams around my house that work great. Coctco type setup that cost me $500.

I think most all of them do it now days but I like the fact you can set it to detect motion and send you a txt or email with an attached picture. Came in handy when I was on vacation a couple of times but it was only my mom and daughter at the house.
