So how did it go? How are you feeling? What all did they find once they cut you open? Any good pictures? how do you feel compared to before? What good pain meds are you on? (non recreational).

i start physical therapy next week, still not supposed to lift anything over 10lbs.
had 1 disc replaced and 1 fusion
really no better then before the surgery, yet
still have trouble eating from the swelling in my throat since they go through the front

I wondered if you had gotten it done..I think last i knew you were fighting insurance and had to push it back. Glad you got it done.

Hey there! I just dropped in, before bed and saw you. Hope you feel better and the 10 lb max, isn't is sh!t. of course it you feel like lifting more and you can, it fvcked up either way. Huh. I started back Monday full bore at least I am alowed to go for anything I can handle. Crapper I can't handle much. On Wed I was doing legs, squats I warmed up with the bar and two tens. Huh I had to back off when I got to 315 foe ten.........Haaa just screwing with everyone's head. So I feel like a rock. Don't look good but feel hard. Screw the ton-age and I get a pretty good workout now this week. Good luck ...crazy mike

Sorry to hear you dont feel better. The one thing I can say about both of my lower back surgeries it I felt instantly 90% better after the surgery than before but both of mine were lower back.

I dealt with it until I was 43 and could not walk or stand more than 5 minutes at a time.
2nd surgery was 2 years later, ruptured L5/S1 due to not getting back in shape and causing a lot of stress on it age 45. I could not walk, sit, stand or even sit on the comode for 30 sec to take a crap without passing out from pain for 2 weeks until I had surgery. It was honestly a life saver.

well im hoping it gets better, its not even 2 weeks yet, did my follow up on Thursday, x-ray say everything is perfect, it maybe more muscular now everything in spasm from the screwing around in there.

Stay on bottom and settle for oral as much as possible and see if that is any better.

Ok on a serious note here Gix, I had the same issue a while back when I was temporarily on opioids. And as soon as I got off them those headaches after sex were gone...
