Ideally, the lower body fat the better. There really isn't anything set in stone, but 14 to 16 % is a good goal to have. Higher body fat comes with elevated side effects and most importantly, managing estrogen becomes quite the task.
So how do we get there? Diet. Nutrition is going to be your biggest focus. With or without steroids, you will only cut or bulk if you're on a decent diet. "Abs are made in the kitchen", surely you've heard that before. So I'd recommend a couple clicks over to the nutrition section, read the cutting sticky threads and learn how to eat properly. You'll avoid disappointment this way.
Training on and off is fine. But it's just not good enough. You'll need committed and have consistency. Sounds to me like you're committed. Now we just need some consistency. This will keep your body in check, build a great routine for yourself and gives you time to learn how to train properly.
Recapping: Get your diet in order, drop a couple of fat percentages and commit to a solid routine in the gym. All this will give you time to research beginner cycles and then... you're ready to start shopping.
In closing, I can tell from your question that you have a good head on your shoulders, because you're not jumping on steroids right away. Good man.

I think 400 - 500mg is good-looking to a great extent spot on suggestion as well for a first cycle. I usually tell people who have-not used test before to the test only, but I'm guessing since you're on TRT I'm sure you know how you react to it by now. Unless you go crazy doseage with the test 500mg+ i think Dianabol - methandrostenolone - may also be a nice little addition.
In my opinion, you are ready. Like someone else said, maybe start with 300mg test and go from there.

Thanks for the advice guys!! Im not on TRT. I have been eating clean at least 180 grams of protein per day and try to hit 270. My calories are up to about 4000. I am confident I eat right. I've done a lot of research on diet and how, what and when to eat the right foods. The workouts are easy the diet is hard!! I find myself struggling to eat enough!!

Your bodyfat you are getting enough but maybe just not the right foods. As Austinite said hit the nutrition section talk to 405 or GBrice they will hook you up. Let's work on this a bit before hitting a test only cycle.
My BF% is steadily going down. Im not gaining or losing lbs. My stength is however increasing. I have cut my diet back and the lbs fall off fast and I am weak and tired!! I think if I eat more more BF% wont drop.. Stuck in a trap!
I think I'm the only one on here that advocates steady strength training for 18-24 months. You gotta build up those connective tissues before you blow up in strength gains. But I'm an old guy and I hate injuries.
IMHO spend another 6 months lifting hard and trimming the bodyfat then you can hit a dose of test.
You have 150lbs of lean body mass; I would try to at least hit 160lbs before you start juicing. The better base you have developed prior to AAS, the better your results will be with less injuries.
I would also drop your bodyfat % to below 15%, then would be a good time to start.
Thanks for the input. I will keep hitting the gym hard. I don't think I can get down to 160lbs (wont be much left of me) lol.. I will keep cutting wieght. I will make it my goal to drop down to 170 by July 1. I cut weight really fast so Im careful to eat enough to maintain. I am at the gym 4 days a week (chest, arms, legs and back) and cardio 4 days a week too (running and swimming)..
