    pin sizes for different sites

Not sure if this has been posted but what are the ideal gauges and lengths for the different body parts, ex. 25gx1" for quads. and what are the thinnest needles possible for each

I had a hard time finding 25g 1.5" for glutes so I went with 1"

Of course now I find them. BD Regular Bevel Needles 25 Gauge, 1.5", - 100 Needles - HealthWarehouse.com

for IM, 25 gauge is king for all sites
    for SQ, 25-30 gauge

    Length is user dependent (BF%)

    For example me:
    IM glute- 1"
    IM delt- 5/8"
    IM quad- 5/8"
    SQ abdomen- 3/8"
    SQ quad- 3/8"

I always used the same pin for quads or delts, and I believe it was 28g 1". I was able to hit muscle with this although I was under 20% bodyfat. if someone wast around that level of fat they might not hit muscle in the quad.

glutes you would want something longer especially if you have more bodyfat
