    Carb cycling

So my macros are 300-320 protein, 250g carbs,50-60 g fat. Now for two meals on workout days I have a pwo that has 72g carbs and a ppwo that has 70g carbs ,on rest days the carb part of those meals are cut out which is 142g carbs out of my diet which leaves me with 158 carbs on my cardio days. on Sunday which is a complete rest day I bring it down to 50g of carbs is this to drastic of a carb cycle ? Also I'm bulking and at 200 5,10 and 17% bf as of two weeks ago and on test e 250 mg twice a week. Goal is to be at least 12% by the end I'm 2 weeks into 12 week cycle never carb cycled this way and I did read threads on it just want some more opinions thanks.

There's a stickie for a real carb cycle. Read it and follow it, yours is only a carb fluctuation.

It says in post that i did Read ,does follow kind of what gbrice outlined for bulking carb cycling. Why do you say fluctuating do you think it's too big of a drop off from 250 to 100 to 50

What does the stickie say? Does it say your 250 on you high day is enough? And that 50 is low enough on a ZERO day?

    Mon/Wed/Fri - High carb days (350g carbs)

Tue/Thur/Sat - Moderate carb days (175g carbs, total calories are now roughly 2400)

Sunday - Low Carb day ( mostly fibrous veggies, <50g starchy carbs, total calories are at roughly 2000, not counting veggies, which, if you eat enough [and you should], can actually add up )

This is from gbrice and the calorie intake he has outlined is higher then mine so my ratio is less for that reason but he also says there is no real right or wrong way so I figured I didn't need to go any lower than 50 I get tired with no carbs also.

i thought the same thing.. i havent crunched ur numbers but ill give u 2 reasons why IMO bulking for u seems odd:

    1. youre 17%body fat which is high IMO and ur only 2 weeks into the cycle which means u were this fat when u started.

    2. u state u want to be 12%body fat by the end and that is not going to happen running a bulk (caloric surplus). in order to reduce body fat u have to be running a cut (caloric deficit).. thats what cutting is, reducing body fat..

IMO u need to decide what u want more: reduce body fat or gain LBM.. personally if i were u i would be cutting but i also wouldnt be cycling either.. not at 17% at the start, no way in hell! thats just me though..

i hope this answers ur question..

Well I was I have been dropping my calorie intake from what what it was I'm only 200-300 hundred above I had a problem when I dropped calories to fast, seemed like I lost some muscle so I can drop it slowly but I have still been losing a little weight like a pound sometime 2 a week for the last month. So maybe for my body that little above isn't causing me to gain and I'm still losing. I wasn't cutting befor cycle so I just been on same diet since.
