I don't want to be a Doubting Thomas, but the only way I'll believe there is a god is if Tebow gets to start.

    Heck...I like Tebow......lol

I think he'll do great in New England because they are stocked with talent. This adds another dimension to a powerhouse of a team. I hate em but a fact is a fact.

Well pi has a formal definition and has many formulas (in the form of an infinite series) to calculate it; therefore one can calculate pi to any arbitrary digit. I understand your point though, .

Yeah, Tebow is horrendous. I am not sure they will keep onto him, but you can better believe Tebow will be trying out other positions because a quarterback he is not.

Tebow isn't a very good QB it's true. But what he has is the thing you can't teach somebody. He doesn't quit and he doesn't choke when in the clutch. You know how many talented QBs there are in the league right now who choke when it matters the most? But he'll never get to play except in extra point and field goal spots.

Belicheck wil turn him into a TE at best. He will NEVER be under center. He has a great work ethic but he's no qb. Hell, Urban knew that back in the college days. Got lucky w/him though but he;s now in the NFL.

According to locker room gossip, he has all the attributes of a great WIDE RECEIVER, but will never be able to hold the position of TIGHT END......

It's definitely going to be what they fight over during preseason. I will say if there is any way to turn Tebow in to a decent QB, it'd be having him under Brady. Look at what it did for Matt Cassel.

Proof there is a god. Not by Tebow, wonder why. It is written in scripture, you should not stand on your box to pray, but to pray in your closet, or not in front of millions but by yourself. ...crazy mike

He was the guy who used to be able to throw for 400 yards back when he played for a good team.

I agree with you but when I thought about it I think he will be just fine NFL or not. Even if you dont like the guy (like you said how can you not) you have to respect him.

Being a Gator I've supported Tebow since day one and will continue to support him BUT I refuse to cheer for the Pats!!

I think it's hilarious that people hate someone that has more heart than the majority of the athletes on the field. The guy was amazing in college! I really didn't think he had a shot in the NFL but look what he did in Denver. The dude is passionate about what he does and if we had half his passion I'm sure we would be a lot further along in life.

This goes to what I read in a previous thread about people being jealous and saying things like "a lambo is just a camaro with a wing and a badge". The guy is more dedicated, more passionate, and more athletic than anyone talking trash about him will ever be. He's a good kid and a GREAT role model for children but everyone hates him. Makes no sense to me!! He is everything athletes making millions should be and acts how they should be acting. This world is twisted to hate a guy like that!!

No doubt!!! It's sad that maybe a handful of the guys in each sport represent what the sport should be about. The Manning family is a great family to learn from, they're all so polite and well mannered. I want my kids looking up to those athletes and not the clowns getting busted for DUI, rape, or assault.

And this is how he looked as a Chief... See that cheerful smile he always wore? Can't imagine why we would get rid of him....

Maybe I should have come right out and said what I mean. Let me first qualify myself as NOT being a football fan. However my point wasn't to put Tebow down as a player, I was merely saying don't think God is doing more for him than another God loving individual. I am not one to be ashamed of my faith, but my faith is personal and I take what is says in Matt 6:6 seriously as a show of abiding by scripture. Two men of great talent and equal faith pray. Which one wins the game the man who prayed the best. The one who openly displays his faith, Think not anything to do with that. Who wins is God's plan. I don't think by praying at least like this show, advertising in the stadiums and national TV is any stronger and means nothing more then hype.
Who wins from hype, well on a mortal playing field the guy with the hype because he get's whatever royalty begets him. IMOP a show of this magnitude is ALMOST a form of sac -religion.
Tebow is a talented player but lets remember it's about football. This from my field of faith ...crazy mike
