25 Y/O Male Low T would love some advice

Hey everyone I just joined and would love your input!

I'm 25 I've been working out for 7 years going from 129lbs at 6ftto 195. I think I am around 12-14% BF and overall I think I'm prtty built. Anyways I have been dealing with depression and anxiety for a while now and I finally got my blood tests done and my total T level is 327 which is very depressing. I just started taking lexapro because I have been dealing with being depressed, anxiety, low sex drive but after seeing my T levels I think its because of my low testosterone. I have an appointment this friday to see a urologist and I'm hoping to get on test cypionate, hcg, and an AI. What do you all think?

Also I should note i have never cycled or done prohormones. However I have done natural test boosters a lot like alpha male from biotest.

seems young, rather foolish to me to go on TRT as a first line of treatment.

the allure of testosterone for men is very seductive. if you look around all you hear is how it is the fountain of youth or some cure-all. but it's not. if I was 25 I would want to find out why my testosterone is so low.

I would look at addressing nutritional and lifestyle problems. there are many "easy" things one can do to have a real positive impact on their testosterone levels. asking these questions up front, before starting TRT is really the best idea IMO.

finally, stay away from supplements like natural testosterone boosters. you'd be suprised, but many of these contain hormonal substances that can disrupt your endocrine system. aside from a handful or two of select vitamins or nutrients then really, supplements in general are wasteful to both your wallet and hope.

I don't know what else to do. My diet is great, I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. Does cardio boost testosterone levels? thats one thing I don't do.

Also I should add I have spotty facial hair and no chest hair.

The test boosters might have messed you up and you might be able to be restarted, we have guys restarting on clomid and some on HCG in this forum plus there should be some over in PCT:

Plus you maybe should have a MRI also to check for a pit tumour.

I'm 32 and started on TRT about 3 months ago. Definitely do all your homework to decide if this is what you want to be on for the rest of your life. I wish you luck on your journey.

I don't think its a pit tumor. I don't have a problem getting an erection and I have no other symptoms other than depression and anxiety which could be due to the low T

TRT could be what you need, it's just advisable for someone your age to exhaust the alternatives before jumping on TRT, but your choice...

thanks man, appreciate your advice. Wish you didn't mention pit tumor because now im going to think i have a pit tumor haha. I'm kind of a hypochondriac like that.

In a way I would be excited to go onto Test cypionate, hcg and an ai. I've always wanted to cycle and I know TRT and cycling are different but I have always felt that I was one cycle away from going from a decent physique to a very nice physique.

How did HRT describe TRT once? Think he said alluring is what it is....

You should also have your complete thyroid labs run....much more than just TSH, because hypothyroid symptoms are often the same as low test symptoms and can cause low test they say.

Also, check vitamin d level.

you really need to clarify for yourself what your goals are. is it to "cycle" so you can increase your progress in the gym? is it mental and physical well-being? is it optimal natural hormonal levels? etc etc...

It would definitely be for my physical well being. If I wanted to cycle I would have done it, but I take my health very seriously and have always felt cycling was not for me. But since I have a pathetic t value at 25 I would not be opposed to getting on trt. It may help with my anxiety and depression so I don't have to take an ssri

if you want to go on trt, then go, but you need to get a brains can first..if it's normal...then **** it and go ont rt....injected sub q, you dont even feel it...and it's fun(im on hcg but prolly same)

i think most 20-30s guys have low t due to all of the gmos in our foods.

Yep if TRT is what it takes to get rid of the anxiety and dep., cool go for it, but it could be your thyroid or maybe you could restart.

A pit tumour I think is not uncommon but probably often not that big of a deal. Kelkel has one and didn't know it and didn't know his TT was low and he ended up going on TRT.

if you want to get on trt gung ho then that's your choice. but if it were me, I would go on TRT as a down-the-road option.

and this is coming from someone who DID go on trt right off the bat. if I could do it over, I would have at the very least, done a trial of low dose clomid. unfortunately, I was both in a bad place and had a poor doctor at the time.

there are a lot of drawbacks to being on testosterone that you completely avoid with something like clomid. not the least of which is finding a quality doctor who actually knows how to treat patients with testosterone.

clomid scares me more than trt lol. ill never do it. hcg seems to not b giving me side though...not that i feel different.

what about clomid scares you? its a very mild drug. it's not a replacement for trt nor hcg either, it's just another option operating on a different mechanism.
