Source Check 101 Question

So I'm trying to follow the very specific guides set up in the sticky threads for source checks and have a few questions.
First I want to clarify this I am not looking for a source, just trying to get one verified before jumping in.
I have emailed several vets/mods and only got one response, not even a f--- off from anyone else. Does that mean they will not help me or are just busy or I'm I not asking/providing the correct info?

Any advise or suggestions from mods/vets/senior members as to how to properly do this?

Pm if you don't feel this should be on forum, and again not looking for source contact just feedback.

I'd spend a little more time on here letting people get to know you. If people have a better idea of the kind of person you are, you may have a better shot at getting some source recommendations/checks
