Hello everyone.

My name is Michael and i am a 44 year old living in Toronto. I have twice gone through cancer treatment in the last 3 years that destroyed me. The last was over christmas into February. It took until recently for all the pain and stiffness in my joints to subside whenever i biked or tried to exercise. One of my sisters is an oncologist and has been little help as she is brain washed by no fault of her own into believing all the nonsense spouted by the AMA despite people having contrary results to the 'research'.

Nearly 3 years ago I had throat and thyroid cancer resulting in thyroidectomy and some lymphnode removal with chome. Last fall, throat scraping and DaVinci surgery with a second chemo session because they hadnt gotten it all the first time. My six month check up shows ZERO signs of recurrence. Also it wasn't a genetic but an environmental cancer. My THS is stable and normal with the daily pills.

Anyway. I have pretty decent question i think. I asked the same of all my doctors but the response is always the same "just live with it, thats life" to which i call bullshit.

I want the joint pain to stop after i bike or jog, i cant seem to get the fat that started showing up to go away and my strength is not recovering (i mean i do push ups and pull ups and sit ups but cant seem to push past a certain amount, like no strength gain )

What can i take or combination can i take to get back some semblance of a pain free healthier life? I read of all these people doing partial doses of various steroids or precursors and reporting an amazing improvement in their quality of life. I just want a little of that. Where do i start? If there is no hope and pain with a couch and TV is all i can expect for the rest of my life, i dont really see the point.

Thanks for any answers.
