Anybody into Heavy Duty or High Intensity Training?

Been lifting for many years but my latest wonder discover was High Intensity training.
Now i was using a 4 day per week workout plan from Dorian Yates posted on a bodybuilding site... the training system has been been love at first sight.

Getting strength gains every week, one or two... now that im on a test e cycle its 3-4 reps more every week for almost every exercise, biceps its taking me longer to progress.
I love staying less than 45 minutes at the gym, all the volume-training people keep arent finished when i leave.

I dont see any reason right now to go back to volume training, if you are wondering what workout to try, i definitely suggest this to everybody.

The question i have is.. lets see if i get it

High Intensity Training = more strength but less size (or slower size gains)
Volume Training = slower strength gains but more size (kind of pumped look.. inflated? since size doesnt always translate into strength)

I've just been going balls to the wall in the gym as heavy as I can for the past few months. This is working good for me, strength and size but I can feel my body getting tired from it, I'll be needing a break soon

I agree with Kel on all of what he said. FYI at my age 62 I have to find the right level off intensity that will allow me to build some strength but mostly size since I am into true bodybuilding. I work hard but slow , (age) so I get the most recovery for my next set for reaching overload and failure to promote building more size. I can go a few weeks at a time very intense but age being a factor I reach what I call overtraining my entire body. Not just a muscle or group , but the ALL of me. So I have to incorporate both that you talk of.

I am just enlightening you on more facts that come along with bodybuilding and different workouts. It's good to hear someone being successful with any program they are doing and trying. ...crazy mike

I dont feel tired at all, you would laugh at me if i told you how many months ive been using it without switching workout routine. Works so well for me that i feel the need to keep going.

Lui, my joints are good. However I suffer from very bad tendinitis in my arms and elbows. I have to say the tendonitis is from lifting heavy. Remember I'm 62. I had many years laid off and came back with a blast and early cycles. That's why I caution the newbies and the beginner cycles. If you don't have a good foundation and you start a cycle and lift heavy or even without a cycle heavy lifting can hurt you. If you are not ready. Anyway , be safe, good luck, and be cool. ..crazy mike

OH, by the way there are interviews of members on the anabolic lounge section and you can get to know about me, and other members if you go back and read some. cool, ...cm
