    VPX Meltdown

I thought I would share my experience so far and check in and tell you how it is working from a novice point of view.

For a point of reference I have never tried a fat burner or any supplement before. I am trying to lose my last 7 pounds via a starvation diet. (which I see now I am an idiot) and I am eating about 500-700 calories a day which I am in the process of adding calories to get my body out of trauma mode and I eat about 8-12g of carbs a day. Just letting you know where I am starting from not to critique because I have seen the error of my ways.

    Day one of Meltdown:

I have taken two today. 1 mid morning, and one around 3pm which I might regret this evening. I do not feel jittery at all
and for the first time in 7 weeks (which surprisingly enough coincides with my start of starvation diet) I feel like myself again.
I am more alert and my mind is more focused. I worked out around 5pm and I noticed on the stair master machine that even though I was on my normal level and time, my heart rate stayed up the entire time and stayed at the 85% category on the machine the entire time. Also I sweated more.

The down side for me, but for others maybe not....I do not want to eat at all. I know I will have to force myself to eat but I do not feel hungry.

I will add to this after a few days because I am sure being new to taking a fat burner there is an initial jolt until my body gets used to it, but hoping it stays strong for me , and helps with my energy. If it can help me lose the last 7 pds while trying to add calories back in then bonus.

    Week one is over!

I had my doubts I would lose much weight having 7 to go and living on 700 calories a day. I was very surprised but I lost 4 pounds in a week. I still went to the gym 5 days a week two times a day and ate low carbs 20 g a day. The big difference was my heart rate while on the stair climber I stayed at 156 the whole time and got much more out of my time with Cardio.

I did not get jittery at all but I also have adhd so I found having a stimulant more calming and I could focus longer. I had to travel one day and 14 hours in various airports and thought to take more that recommended and it made me tired. (adhd thing) so the stimulant does not bother me but maybe it would be noticeable for someone with normal DNA.

I did get charlie horses one night but it never happened again and was the night of the 14 hour trip so probable was this instead of meltdown.

I am very happy so far, and as I am raising my calories it is helping me still lose weight and giving me the confidence to start raising my calories more without gaining weight.

I can't really explain how I got there, but it happened fast. I posted about it in the nutritional forum under "last 7 pounds". I am now going in the right direction and have moved it UP to 700 (as insane as that sounds). Next week it's 800 and so on...it's not okay to do, and I really do not have a rational explanation of why I thought this was a good idea.
