    illegal to fly with test?

I work in a drug and alcohol rehab. Long story short. I had a new client today. I was doing his intake and he had his normal meds in a ziplock bag along with his testosterone and syringes. He apparently has been on hrt since 13. I didn't want to make a big thing of it so I drop off the bag with the medical team and that was that.

I always thought it was illegal to fly with that stuff. Am I mistaken?
Btw. He flew from Philly to south Florida. And the bag was in his carry on bag.

Any drug without a prescription is illegal. Planes are no exception.

Why would it be illegal to fly with your prescribed meds?

That's the thing he may of had a prescription. But it would have been for jersey. Sorry not Philly. He said he brought enough to last him his entire stay. I was just surprised It was in his carry on of all bags. It was like 4 bottles.
So I'm assuming as long as you have a script somewhere in the USA it's legal?
Btw I find a lot by doing bag searches on new clients so i know people sneak stuff all the time. but it was right there in his carry on....This was a first for me.

It's not. I get a lot of people from the north easy come down to Florida to get sober. And they all have medication. I just didn't know if hrt was any different or not. He had 4 bottle of test in his bag. But his script is for jersey. I dunno it just caught me off guard.

I don't know of any restrictions on interstate travel with prescriptions (so long as you aren't trafficking, of course).
    You're really overthinking this.

HRT is no different so long as you have a prescription

I do not have a prescription for Test E and I just flew to the states with 10 amps and back with 3. I do however have a prescription for Test U for my HRT.

Not a single question was asked about my meds.

I have also taken my prescription test with me on a few occasions when flying, but I always keep the bottle in its appropriate box that has my script label attached to it, never a problem.

When a licensed physician writes a Rx it is valid for the entire USA. He has a federal license.

^^^This is most often the case. When amps/vials of meds are seen, especially with their accompanying syringes, it is immediately assumed that they are legal. Remember the airport/TSA bag checker is not the DEA, they are not looking for or interested in your black market gear, nor do they check for scripts. They are merely present to prevent passengers from bringing items aboard which threaten the safety of the flight. I've flown with vials of Test, Tren, and Deca several times. No questions asked.

If he has a script should be fine with a carry on
