    diet/cut on test cyp?

    I'm on trt test cyp 100mg e7d hcg 250iu daily and .25mg anastrozole 2xw
I've got an engagement coming up in approximately a month. I would like to cut some fat hard and fast! With that being said if i keep my protein @ 1gr per pound of lbm would i be able to cut like hell and not really have to worry about loosing hardly any to no muscle?

^^not necessarily.. depends on many factors such as (but not limited to):
    stats: age weight bf%
    extent of deficit
    amount of cardio
    training
    macro nutrient breakdown
100mg per week of test cyp is hardly enuff to keep u from losing LBM.. that should pretty much keep ur blood levels about optimal depending on personal factors..
sometimes we make things more complicated than they need to be, and other times we do the opposite!

how much fat do u want to lose? one month may be enuff to lose roughly 6-10lbs depending on many factors.

Age 30 bf 20% 225lbs was going to run my diet @ 50% prot. 30% carb 20% fat 20% and @about 800- 1000 calorie deficit depending on how i feel. I can increase my test that would not be an issue. Looking for 10 lb loss ( which would not be extremely abnormal for me) lift heavy 4 days a week with 30 minute cardio after and 1 hour cardio on off days. As of now i dont do cardio on off days. So should I raise my test levels to maybe 150 or even 200?

at 20%bf ur not gonna lose a LOT of LBM IMO especially being a TRT patient assuming your levels are optimal.

50/30/20 split is a good one. you could increase your test but i dont know where you stand with ur E2 levels and increasing the test will likely cause that to elevate as well.

personally id run a good deficit and hit cardio and the gym hard and see what u can do.

what caloric amount would u be running to achieve this 800-1000cals deficit? what does ur diet look like?

cardio would be 5 hrs per week??

Calories would be between 2100- 2600. I inject e3.5 days so E2 is not really an issue it is fairly easy for me to adjust my ai dosage to compensate. Cardio would be at 5 hours a week. Working on laying out the diet now.

kind of what i suspected. unless u have established your maintenance cals thru trial and error already i think 2600 will be too many to reduce fat especially at the rate u want to reduce it. i couldnt lose fat at 2600cals per day and i have 173-175lbs LBM (5 less than u if ur bf% is correct).

I agree ! So i probably need to shoot in at around the 2000 2100 range. I've never cut before while on test.

    good maintenance estimate:

    LBM x 15

    for you:
    225lbs x .20%bf =

    100% - 20% = 80% (.8)

    225 x .8 = 180lbs LBM

    180 x 15 = 2700cals (rough maintenance)

    cut: 2700 - (350-500cals)

Ok well I have been successful @ keeping my macros around 50/30/20 now they do fluctuate a bit but less then 5%. Is that necessarily bad? Also I have been able to accomplish this all while keeping my calories close to 1700 and I have been between 195-215 grams of protein daily. Any thoughts on this? Any thoughts on the effects of my LBM while running such a major deficit?

Also went to trt doc friday he put me on a indirect calorimeter and said that my REE is 2333 cals a day. How accurate do you think that could be?

Yes.....you breathe in and out through it taking normal breaths for no less than 10 minutes while relaxed. I'm very curious on how accurate it really is.

If you look at the numbers it is somewhat close to what your figures were.

yeh it looks like BMR x 1.3 right?

i think i had it figured roughly at BMR x 1.26 (ish)

If that thing is accurate that means my bf% was pretty close also.

What did you think of the macros/cals I've been running? I've dropped 2.4lbs since sunday and my lifts have improved a minimum of 10lbs overall in the past 2 days which was chest&back monday and legs today.
