Clomid/Nolva effects on prolactin

Does clomid and nolvadex decrease or increase prolactin blood levels or not affect them in anyway ? I'm going to get my levels checked and was wondering if i should wait till iv'e finished pct...after doing some research iv'e found many of my symptoms im experiencing could be a result of an increased level of prolactin even before i ever touched aas, going back as far as my teens i am here.

Basically any change in E2 can change prolactin metabolism. E2 goes up = prolactin going up and vice versa. It's more complex than that but that sums it up IMHO anyway.

So if would be better th wait till after pct to wait to have the levels checked

I would wait a couple months after pct to pull a full hormone panel but if you're concerned about prolactin maybe get an E2 sensitive assay and check prolactin as well. You can always take low dose caber at maybe .25 x 2 per week. Won't hurt ya.

prolactin is an interesting hormone... and lotta vairables.

Too high of test dosage can increase prolactin levels ( long feed back loop )
Decrease of dopamine can increase prolactin levels
etc..

prolactin itself doesnt do much, but it really empowers estrogen making Estrogen much more active at lower levels ( so ull see estrogen issues if ONLY prolactin increases)

As for nolva and clomid affecting prolactin levels.. doubtful... b/c it competes w/ estrogen at the receptor yet no further actions at the receptor...

Its hard to say w/o goin all in depth with your signs and symptoms.. but thats the jidst of it.
