    Need direction what and when to eat

    Hey there, i am 6'2" 290 and started eating healthy back in June. In the last month I've night a mountain bike and joined a gym. Been doing cardio 6 days a week and 5x5 workout every other day. My goal is 5x5 to build muscle to help burn fat and to get in shape with cardio. I am eating eggs in three morning with a small amount of granola. An apple two hours later. Chicken and beans/fibrous vegetable for lunch. An orange before workout and then fish and fibrous vegetable for post workout dinner. Any recommendations?

    Id chuck a small amount of carbs in there as well should give you more energy in essence more chance to burn that fat off

    So should i be doing carbs and sugars (from fruit) only right before cardio workout, followed by lean meats and protein after strength training? Also, i cutdairy and caffeine all together

    I would stop eating the fruit alone. I'd not eat any carbs alone, especially if I was cutting.

    Do you know how many calories that is you eat? It doesn't look like ALOT and you may cause more damage than good over the long term.

    Know what your bodyfat is?

    What is the best time to eat carbs/fruit and with what other items? I thought that fruit would provide energy for the workout and then protein right after working out. Should I be mixing carb/sugar intake with fats?
