cardio before or after weight training? and fasted cardio

I have read some mixed opinions in magazines and forums laity.. What are your opinions?

I had always been told to do my cardio first, because doing it after weight training, you can burn calories that your muscle needs to grow. I feel like this is wrong, in my mind as long as I'm getting the nutrients I need throughout the day it shouldn't really matter when the cardio happens..

Similar to "fasted cardio" I just don't see what the current contents of my stomach have to do with the way my body burns calories and reduces fat.

There's a new thread on this every 2 weeks it seems. You could just use the search function, there'd be plenty of results.

Just do your cardio, particularly if your bodyfat is above 10%. It really doesn't matter when, just burn the calories you need to burn. I do mine when it's convenient, that's normally after lifting. I would never do it before.

You're right man sorry.. I did search first but I guess I was being lazy :-\ I'm on my phone and flipped through 3 pages of search results and didn't find anything.. After that I'm seeing a few threads touching on it but no sicence to back anything up..

    But thanks for the reply.

I'll keep looking through old posts I guess.
