    Tens units

    Need to know if anyone else has a tens units or have experience using one. My PT thinks I should get one for rehab. I have found a few good ones but a guy at the gym said he has one with a Russian setting and it helps with hard to work / reach muscles. Anyone got suggestions? Now I do know that these things are not like the infomercials and you don't get something for nothing. Just want to know if there is a use for getting one with a Russian setting for use to build muscle along with training.

    you mean stim machine? if so don't be fooled, it wont put muscle on you, but its great for muscle therapy! I have one.

    I second that. If they really put on muscle, we would not need gyms. They have uses in rehab but definitely not a cure all.

    deep tissue activation.. enough to cause damage so that repair and thus new tissue is growN??

    they work great for muscles that are damaged due to strain or whatnot and need stim to repair/heal... i swear by them..

    about 2x year i'll injure something.. fix it right up..

    They recommend a Biomedical machine. What type do you have? Any of you have the Russian Setting?

    So you guys are saying I can put this on my abs and eat chips all day and get a 6 pack? ha

    LOL.

    Won't make you any stronger or bigger, but if you train like a ****ing man and eat right, this machine will help with some tightness and soreness. The result is you feel better and recover faster so you can train harder. I use mine often and it's good for what I stated.
