Steroid Test On The Chest Muscles!!

Okay guys I did an experiment to see which exercise by itself would give me the biggest and most complete chest development. Many wont like what I'm fixing to say but here goes.
I performed straight bench press on my first cycle and straight flat dumbell flyes on my second because my chest is my lagging a point.
The dumbell flat flyes have made my chest bigger according to the mirror,friends, and my wife. I perform them with 6 to 8 reps with 3 minutes resat betwen sets just as I did with my benches. I did 6 sets twice per week.
Now I see why in Arnold's encyclopedia he states that flyes are to be used to develop "THE MASS OF THE PECS"!
Do the experiment and see where you stand. I for one now know how to keep my chest growing!

Well that is no suprise, with dumbell flys you can isolate the chest muscles more effectively IMO. Remember you have more muscles involved when doing bench. Shoulders, tris, and back muscles come into play. with Dumbell flys you put more stress on the chest and force it to work harder than say bench.

yeah flyes are my secret to a big chest, ppl say u dotn bench much but have a big chest. thats becuz i do like 70 pound fyles or 65 lbs. depends if im cycling ! and when u do flyes, u GOTTA DO EM STRICK. i see too many ppl inthe gym doing them wrong, they go like 1/2 way down and come up !

Arnold's been doing bodybuilding since he was 16..when was he a powerlifter? I'm not contradicting you but I've read his encyclopedia of bodybuilding numerous times and I respect him a lot, and I'm curious to know when he powerlifted...

I jsut moved and its packed away, but read his autobiography.

Him and Franco. He won all kinds of powerlifting titles across Europe.

Run a search in yahoo and maybe you will find something. I dont think he really started into bodybuilding till quite some time later on in his life...after he was already big.

Remeber the infamous pic of Franco deadlifting in there? Does that look like a typical bodybuilder amount of weight

I would say that The Oak was more of a bodybuilder than a powerlifter. Out of the 19 titles won by The Austrian Oak, only 2 of them were for powerlifting. So, as you can see, he was a bodybuilder before he was a powerlifter.

lol no he wasnt all of the olympia titles were later on when he was older

ask someone older or read his fucking book like i did where he says it. read the kind of training he did, it sure as hell wasnt doing flyes way back when! his encyclopedia book if you didnt notice was written later on in his life once he made the switch to pure bodybuilding

flyes for a massive chest makes since. but those of you who agree what would you typically do for a chest workout. would you start with flyes or finish with them or what??? just curious cause you have to do more then just flyes

So you have to win a Olympia Title to be considered a Bodybuilder??

I am not sure why you got offended by my post. I have read many of his books as well as various biographies. Ealier in your post you stated that Arnold won "all kinds" of powerlifting titles. I guess two IS more than one and could be classified as "all kinds" (sarcasm). You also say that he didn't get into bodybuilding until later in life however he won bodybuilding titles BEFORE he won his "many" powerlifting titles! I guess I will just have to go back and read his "fucking" book.
