    Am I sacrificing growth by doing this??

    Recently I switched up my workout and put chest and tri's together. I did tri's first then when I hit chest my tired tri's were keeping me from getting as many reps on chest exercises as I had when chest and tri's were separate.

    Am I sacrificing chest growth because my tri's are failing first?

    Should I do chest first? switch back to my prior routine?

    Any ideas would be very helpful.

    Do your chest 1st while you are fresh.This way you get the most out of your workout.

    I agree, I'd swap and hit chest first.

    Always hit your major muscle group first, same way with back and bi's, never do bi's first before your back.

    Unless like me u get problems with ur shoulder joints then try pre exhaust muscles as much as possible on problematic areas. But ideally yeh. As above ;-)

    yea do chest first.. but i personally dont like doing chest/tris because i think you are sacrificing growth.. not in the chest but for sure in the triceps..
