    iPhone app not working

As the title says, is anyone else suffering from this? It wont allow me to load any threads in any forums, it times out and tells me there was a Parse error.

Ive reinstalled the app, ive switched phone off/on, ive prayed to the 7 gods, I've even licked a toad and rubbed mustard on my chest.

    Any further suggestions?

There is an issue mate. In fact there are 3 or 4 of these threads in various sections about the same thing. As it stands you can only access posts from the forums menu. So it does work but is limited.

Bump - These forums have so many members. Shouldnt getting this fixed be kinda important? Heck, I would even be willing to contribute towards paying a software developer to fix this.

All that have to be done is upgrade the board and enable an extra feature. Just got to push the sysadmin a bit :-)

Its not a big job, I just cant work out why its been so long and its not being addressed. How many new potential users are downloading the app, only to find it isnt working? And how many existing members were using the app?

Im getting the parse error also have been for months. Has to make new profile due to the fact I forgot my password quite a while ago and havnt been able to access any search function since. I already talked to admin who said they would link my old profile to new one in hopes of fixing issue but that never happened either. Help?

I am using it now but if it's not in the store anymore then just use forum runner. It looks almost exactly the same once you set it up

I can access the forum using Safari on my iPhone. The first time I went to the site on my phone, there was a pop up telling me to download the app. When I clicked on it, it didn't work. I also couldn't find it in the app store. I can't get the pop up to come up again, to try downloading it again. It's ok though, because at-least I can access the forum through the safari web browser. I'll check into the Forum Runner.

I don't think so it pretty much is exactly like the native app except you can load multiple forums into the one app

Yeah, it seems great. To be honest, I had never even heard of it before you mentioned it. It cost $1.99 to download

Just an update... Ive been using ForumRunner on my iPhone everyday since you suggested it, and yes, it's worth it. It's been great and easy to use.

Anyone reading this, who can't download the app, just go to the App Store and search for ForumRunner. Bam, done.

  39. #39
Nope, I didn't face that issue yet. All of my apps are working fine so far.

I have downloaded ForumRunner and it won't ever let me sign into it using my username and password? I have had it for awhile and never have been able to. Any advice?
