If you had to choose 2 workout supplements what would they be?

    Ok,

So after talking with several bodybuilders from my gym, nutrition store, and co-worker I can clearly say there is a WIDE variety of opinions. Listed below is what I currently supplement with:

    -Protein Powder (for obvious reasons)
    -Flax seed oil
    -NO pre-workout (5g)

Listed below is what all 3 consistently mentioned:

    -Creatine (5g pre-workout)
    -BCAA's (10g per day)

    Thoughts?

Creatine from Germany ( Creapure )

the other i wud choose depending on what ur trying to accomplish ex recovery, energy, pumps ect.

if you have a decent protein you dont need BCAA cuz its included

Multi vitamins and fish oil would be my two if I was limited to just two.

For the purpose of "per workout only" I would go with Arginine and Citrulline.

Hey buddy...I am running your protocol and found that Citruline didn't enhance the Cialis and L-Arginine. Thoughts?

Elaborate. What do you mean enhance?

I was only doing L-Arginine and 0.5mg Cialis BID...then read your protocol and added Citruline I didn't notice anything different, and actually I felt like the intensity was less

No idea. Doesn't really add up. Unless what you're taking is of poor quality or low doses, it's actually physically impossible.

Hmm I followed your protocol doses. I had trouble finding Citruline but found some at The Vitamin Shoppe. How would I know if it is a low quality of a particular OTC supplement? Cialis is real, no generic, L-Arginine is made by Body Fortress.

^ Try getting powder form. Beyond-a-century.com has the best that I've used.

How to know about quality... you just found out

Other way I do it is to use it alone for a few days (with no other amino acids) and then test my NO levels.

My Bcaas and my L*citrulline. I do two back to back pre doses of the cit. 3-4grams each 20 minutes apart. gym being 10 mins after last dose.

I do however take a shake 5-10 minutes prior to taking first cit dose
    And...
I also mix half scoop of creatine and 3 scoops (using small scoop from creatine) of msm crystals/powder for better collagen synthesis as get problems with my shoulder joints.
