    Pork vs steak

Besides personal preference why would someone choose steak over pork? From my understanding the protein content is the same but pork is lower in fat.

Depends on the cut. I eat pork and steak. I eat a lot of london broil and lean pork chops. Once a month I'll eat baby backs, or a rib eye, ( which are high in fat).

I choose beef over pork. My understanding is beef has more amino acids, vitamins and minerals then pork. Can't go wrong with a big juicy steak! Round, flank and sirloin are the leanest cuts (In that order from leanest to most fat).

I also eat pork. Love ham, bacon, sausage with eggs. Looking forward to Thanksgiving Ham. yum!

As long as you hit your macro's I dont see why not. I try to eat a variety of meat sources.

Lets say it is 90% lean. Thats about 90 grams of protein and 45 grams of fat in 1lb.

I wouldn't put a second's thought into it. I love pork and I love steak. Both are great sources of protein, and I can find relatively lean cuts of both.

I take a more practical approach, assuming both are lean, I buy whatever is cheaper at the moment. Most stores have sales of certain lean cuts. When I eat high fat, high pro, low carb, I definitely stick to rib-eye due to taste lol.

I eat it in Chinese food or fast food. I'm not picky whether your truck killed it or the local butcher
