But he is unwilling to continue the anti cancer protocol, and I have some sympathy and understanding for his position. It's doubtful that anyone (not only here) knows the answer to his questions, but I certainly can understand where he is coming from, and while I don't have any answers, I will certainly try to help to think about it.
Grym, one of the reasons he probably feels like crap is all the chemo and stuff. And radiation and chemo can lower testosterone. Before jumping to testosterone, though, it would be good to know if his tissues are generally or partially insensitive to it, which is why I asked about androgen insensitivity syndrome. Many intersex people who are referred to as hermaphrodites have a type of AIS.
Consider also that he feels like crap (not only due to cancer, but also) because of the stress and damage from chemo and that perhaps looking at alternative ways to recover the body from all that poison might be something that would help him feel better. Things that might help undo some chemo damage to healthy tissue. I don't know a lot about chemo, so I can't help, but I would google and steer clear of the mainstream sites, which won't recommend anything unless it is double-blind placebo controlled, and Pat doesn't have time for that.
