    Back Issues

    Fellas,

I've been struggling with my lower right back for about 3 months now. It hurts, then feels great for a week, then it hurts, then feels great. It's pissing me off. I've seen my GP and a specialist about this. Had X-rays and MRIs and nobody can find anything.

This is an old injury. I hurt it first when I was 15 in a HS baseball game (I'm a pitcher, or was anyway). Next day I went back on the mound again. Shortly after the pain was gone. It's come back three times since then and gone away relatively quickly but not this time.

On top of this I've got my physical fitness exam for the police department coming up December 4 and I need to keep training for it so now I'm stuck trying to minimize pain. The strength part of the exam is nothing, I've got that easily. But my cardio struggles mightily if I lay off more than two weeks so I've gotta keep running.

The only answer left, given the doc hasn't missed something, is "the physical manifestation of stress", which my GP suggested. Yes, I am an annoyingly stressed man and typically bottle it up attempting to take it out in the weight room/boxing ring.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to lessen the pain? Or what may be causing it?

I have the same exact issue, done MRI, x-rays and they can't find anything! went to a chiropractor for a whole year and it still there. I noticed when I get bloated from food or water I get the pain. very crippling at time. it might be something internal, I am guessing since it happens to me when I am bloated, also noticed it when I take adex.
