    Battle injury

So I was hit by a few VBIED's while overseas which took a tole on my neck the most. It's been a few years and I am still having issues lifting because of neck pain. Is there anything I can take or do so I can lift without having to take pain pills? I get free VA healthcare and let's just say there is a reason it's free, lol. I'm just tired of being in pain all of the time, and I am NOT about to get a fusion done. "I enjoy being able to turn my head."

first, thank you for your service and sacrifice, you are my hero!

sorry you have to go through this pain, and I hear you regarding the fusion, I'd try everything else before going the fusion. what are your stats, age, height, weight? have you done blood work recently? if so poste it all with ranges so we can see what's going on. taking pain killers and going through what you went through can affect your hormones. certain anabolic and peptides can help healing, so you never know until you try them!

    HEIGHT: 6' 1"
    WEIGHT: 208lbs

I have not done any blood work recently, I try to avoid the VA like the plague. Every time I walk into the clinic I see the older vets sitting there and it tears me up.

well, you're fairly young and the possibility of having low testosterone in minimal, you with what you went through and the pain killers you're on you never know! see if he can run BW on you. see the sticky Finding a TRT Physician in the HRT section for BW list. first we need to see what is your body doing before we can make any suggestions.

If u do take painkillers steer clear of opiate based like tramadol etc. These can effect your testosterone levels in the long term. This is from personal experience. And as bass said. Ur a a goddamn hero. I'm UK here but still breaks me up when vets come back injured and their country doesn't go no expense spared on sorting it out. Not Gunna rant but u put ur life on the line. So money shouldn't come into it. Here in the UK my step son got all his heart sorted Cuz he was in the army to best hospital etc. Why usa doesn't so this pisses me off.

Hope u get it sorted mate.

Thanks brother! I served with some Royal Marines for a short stint while I was in the sand box, awesome group of guys, lots of heart, nothing but respect for the UK.
