Test E cycle while on TRT?

Hi Guys, I'm 47 and I recently went on TRT (cypionate), still getting my levels straight. My doctor said he wants my test levels at 1000 or wherever I feel best. In about 8 months I want to run a Test E only cycle for 12 weeks 500mg p/w. Should I have stuff on hand for gyno and what should I use. I have some Nolva, do I need some Arimadex or Letro as well?

Once dialed in on your TRT, which will take some time. Ride that wave for a while as you can make dramatic progress with restored test levels and proper nutrition and training. If you don't make progress at this time then a cycle isn't going to work either. Max out progress here first, then cycle if you must.

Take some time and visit the AAS Q & A Forum and Read Austinites Educational Articles (all of them) which will bring you up to speed for all you need. Self education is key to running a safe and effective cycle.

^^^obviously great advice from the experienced one. Might I add, make sure to get E2 checked around 6 weeks, you may find if your T is at 1000 you may already need Armidex. If estrogen is high will offset any benefit of the T.

Thanks, I will check out the articles mentioned and monitor E2. How long can I expect to see gains from just TRT if I'm really hitting the gym hard and keeping on proper diet?

Well, most people's gains fail due to nutrition (lack of eating enough) and less than optimal training (think they're training hard enough) regimens. So that's hard to really say. If your T levels are brought back to basically levels of your youth then the gains, and or lack thereof, are really up to your determination and dedication.

Visit Marcus's Diary in the lounge and try to read it from start to finish. It will take you some time but will open your eyes to training methodologies that will really speed up your progress.
