Talking How do you like snakes??

First one is my Corn snake(Amelanistic), he is 2YO, very gentle and move alot, that's why the picture are all a little bit blur... XD
He is great, shed perfectly and eat a lot! He grow fast too

Second, is my new baby Ball Python(Spider), He is 3 months old, very shy(he still need to get used to be manipulated).
He is so cute when he enrolled himself around his head, Only ate twice and shed once.
I'm gonna feed him again this week(waiting to get the rats). Unfortunately, he only eats alive so it's more complicated...

I love snakes they are really great pet. Easy to take care of.

I don't have much time to have pets, but snakes make it possible. And I love how they move and looks. Plus, my girlfriends loves them as much as I do

What do you think about snakes?

Have lots around my property here in Florida. Don't keep any as pets though.

We have many yellow rat snakes around the yard. They are very docile and friendly. You can just walk up to one, pick it up, and they just hang out with you. My kids enjoy them. Sometimes we see red rats, but they are not as docile. Largest yellow rat we had here about five years ago was 7.5 feet long.

We also see lots of coral snakes, but don't mess with them. (Red touch yellow, kill a fellow)

And we see rattlesnakes. I just killed a 5 footer the other day that was hanging out at my little girl's bus stop. That one had to go. Luckily I saw it before the bus dropped the kids off...and it was exactly where the door opens! Got his rattles.

I've educated my kids that snakes are not just for killing, but they serve a purpose and live here with us. They know poisonous from non and what to do.

Since my kids are very young, I kill any rattlesnake that I see on our property. Can't take any chances.

I usually try to educate people that just kill snakes because they are snakes.

Totally agreed, some snakes are very dangerous and should not be mess with.

    Very responsible of you.

Damn... 7.5 foot long is a pretty big rat snake. If my corn snake reach 5 foot I'll be damn happy XD
And I hope 6 foot for my ball python.

Hmmmm no thanks. Ill pass lol. I'm not afraid of them but I have 0 time to care for one. I used to have an Argentinian black and white tegu and I gave it to someone who was an enthusiast because he ate so damn much.

I currently have 2 dogs and a spur thighed tortoise. He's just not as big as the one in the pic...... Yet.

The darker one is cool looking. All my neighbors always call me when they have one in their yard, garage, etc. I just pick them up and walk them into the woods. Hate to see people kill them for no reason. Bothers me.

I absolutely adore snakes. I had a 3m olive python but gave her to a mate when I moved country. She was so affectionate, she'd curl around me with her head on my shoulder and fall asleep

Liked them as a kid, but not anymore.

Was at my buddies earlier this spring (Califonia foothills) and drinking a beer outside by his truck and he said "there's a rattle snake right by your leg" I thought he was joking. He said walk away from the truck slowly. Then I knew he was serious. A 3 footer under his truck right where I was standing.

I agree wiht kelkel, but he had so many that he had to get the exterminators out. There were always in his garage. Him and his family always had to be careful in the yard, picking something up, running, etc. It just became too much so the exterminators found the den not far from his house and took care of it. He lives on 8 acres.

I think there pretty cool to look at and glad they are around my home as a river runs through my back yard so they keep the rodents away...some how 3 of them got in my basement this summer(at different times) and scared the shit out of my wife...not shure how they are getting in but it doesn't bother me much cus we have no poison snakes where I live..they just love sunning themselves on my rock wall in the am, its pretty cool...
