Me and the wife jumped two weeks ago.
Ouch! I've been several times. Never with another plane side by side like that! That would freak me out.

Fvck no! I'd never doit..... Not unless you had enough money to set me up for life. I've got no interest in jumping out of a perfectly functioning plane and I have even less interest in take my feet off a perfectly safe earth unless I need to
I'd like to jump out of a perfectly good airplane sometime, but other stuff keeps coming up. You know how life goes... Next year..... Maybe!
Talked about it for years but never got around to it or kept finding excuses so I didn't have to do it!
People always said that you cant jump if your over 250. Since i hang around the 240
Mark most if the time, i figure my chances of survival arent very good.
Damn..... 260. I REALLY wanted to jump too..... Guess I can't. Oh well :-)Originally Posted by capetown
Finace got us ticket to go last year for xmas.
amazing time! Got a video to go with....music an all....going to go again hopefully this year....might surprise her with it. Theres a spot couple hours away....one of the highest free falls u can do.
For all of those who want to but have not....make time and do it! It was amazing!
Also the standard weight limit is 225lbs, but if you call around and search and ask for recommendations some places have instructors that will do it. It's going to cost you extra though probably a dollar a lb lol
Just why I wanna do.....Originally Posted by ironbeck

"Sure for an extra $50"
I'd think they have a standard weight limit for a reason
I say this because I know this and called for a friend who was overweight. Of course the have a weight limit for a reason....hence weight limit lol. But there are different size shoots and it a call that particular instructor has to make and be qualified to do.
It's funny how you automatically assume I fathomed this up from my imagination lol
Took the 8 hr class so I didn't have to go tandem. Jumped. Went back a couple of weeks later to prove to myself I wasn't afraid. Jumped again. I no longer have a desire. It was fun as hell though.
I've always wanted to skydive just never had the balls to do it lol
My wife did it. 12000 feet .. She has bigger balls than me and a lot of you!
My wife gave me a jump for our 20th Ann. I still have not used it but I will dammit!
I didn't think you made it up lol. I was just saying I wouldn't trust any instructor no matter how qualified if the majority wouldn't take anyone over a weight limitOriginally Posted by ironbeck
Also I never said I thought you made it up from your imagination. Quite the assumption also..... Just sayin :-)
I tried that indoor fake skidive thing in vegas. Couldn't get me half the height it is suppose too. Im from the east coast, i was meant to float not fly.
Yea it was everything everyone said it would be: F***ing awesome.
my wife wants to go. im not ready yet. I have to compete first, then after that I don't care ill go jump. May not pull my cord either...lol.
I've gone 2 times. Once tandem, the other time solo. I would love to go again in the future.
Is anybody viewing the video?

That's nuts lol. U guys have a death wish haha. It's not even that I'm scared of it because I'd doit for money..... I just have no desire to even know what it feels like. It won't really come out feeling any different as its not interesting to me personally. I've put my life in harms way, relatively speaking, doing other things that interest me more. I've had many many hobbies over the years and ill never look back at doing them :-) great life experience.Originally Posted by MuscleInk

Yeah saw that one the news. Amazing no one was killed. It's still on my bucket list of things to do. I need to cash in my certificate for a free flight lesson but I would like to keep that and sky diving separate. lol
I bet someone like GGR could talk me in to jumping out of a plane.
Are u afraid of height darhling? I am which is why I must! ; )Originally Posted by Honkey_Kong
