    Knee adjustments from a chiropractor

    Hey guys,

So I have some kind of knee problem that simply wont go away. I got an injury doing bad form with one legged squats that caused some very mild joint effusion and what was called "superficial cartilage fissure" on the patella. This was seen on an MRI.

But the bottom line is that the pain and stiffness simply wont go away. It's frustrating and the pain has extended all the way up side my adducto magnus up into my groin. It's been 6 months, and I figured something must be mechanically wrong for the pain to continue.

I can't run or do elliptical and haven't bothered trying doing much leg exercises lately :-(

So I figured I may try chiropractic knee adjustments. Has anyone tried it before and had success or know anything about it?

    Thanks

Ive been to a Chiropractor many times over the years but never had my knees worked on. I can see how it might help due to having knee problems once in my life for about 6+ months.

I had gone on a hike up a mountain for the 1st time in years. I almost couldn't make it down due to the pain in my knees. They hurt for months after that and nothing I did helped. I sort of fell off of a 3 or 4ft cliff and remember thinking this is going to hurt.... When I landed my knees both popped and the pain was gone and have not hurt since. That was several years ago.

    are you on any meds?

was the MRI 6months ago? consider a repeat MRI to how much or how little you're healing.
