    young,roids and money

I am just on a little bit of a rant after going to the gym today.I had young member (16-17)walk up to me in the locker room and ask if I had some gear for sale. I looked at him and said my belt and shoes were not for sale and walked out. As I got into my vehicle he came out and got in his $500 car and drove away.

This forum has had a lot of young members (18-21) talking about there cycles. The one question I have is were the hell do they get the money that it takes to run a proper cycle.
As we all know the cost of the gear is only a small part of it when you figure in a good diet.
I know when I was 19 years old and in school I couldn't afford to put gas in my car let alone buy gear.

It did kind of p!ss me off that he asked me, plus there were 2 other guys in the locker room.

19-21 year old don't know how to do a proper cycle, if they did they wouldn't even consider it. also it could be a setup with the two guys in the locker room!

They are all regulars so I doubt if it was a set up. I'll probably just have to go with the kid being an idiot.
Even if it was a set up they are barking up the wrong tree!

Ive never had anyone directly walk up to me and ask me to sell them some. Not that I sell them.
Many round the about fishing episodes.

Not sure how I would handle that situation, especially within ear shot of other people? Knockout game?

I've had people ask..... Most in a round about way. I was at a club one time in NYC with a friend who was damned big and a kid walks up to him and says " bro do u have any winny u can sell?" Lololol my boy goes "yea right here in my pocket..... Like 10 bottles! Are u fvcking kidding me?"

the guy was a little dumb, especially with his age.. but it must have taken some real balls to pluck up the courage to ask something like that.. i remember the first time i asked my source for gear, was terrified lol..

i assume you are on steroids as your on this forum? so the kid probably guessed that & wanted to know your source..

the kid is obviously uneducated.. was probably willing to spend what little money he has on gear because thats what he felt he had to do to get big..

im 22 in 1 month & earn 40k a year, one of the lucky ones i suppose, i can afford to do this..

I think young guys just have no idea where to get it, so they get desperate and just start asking around.

You're probably right but its a good way for them to get into serious trouble.

How would they get in serious trouble?

If they were to ask someone that was in law enforcement or something like that.
Or somebody that didn't have a cheerful disposition like myself

As far as I know, they can't get in any kind of trouble for asking. No crime was committed. Selling it, on the other hand....

    Soliciting possibly?

Many years back my little brother and his friends asked an off duty cop to buy them alcohol outside of a drug store and they got arrested. I don't recall the exact charge.

If it happens again I'll scream "I'm a cop, freeze" if they run you know they are guilty of something.

Dude kids today just mooch off their parents. It's easy to afford gear when Dad's paying for the roof over your head and food in your belly. All they really need is a part-time McJob and they can pay for their gear. Often times, parents will give their kids the money for their gear thinking they're just buying supplements.

Gear is the cheap part of cycling anyways regardless of where you live. It's the food that costs the fortune. And as much as I bitch about how much my grocery bill is, after what I've seen what some of the guys in the UK are saying they drop at the supermarket every week, I think food in the US is about as cheap as it can get. But it's still expensive.

Well when you've got dudes like bostin loyd going around saying the shit is cheap..

Really, the cost of the test for a test only cycle is dirt cheap.. the real cost comes from the ancillaries and your pct, but most people Im guessing think they can get away without any of that stuff. If you do a proper test e cycle as outlined on the boards here the test is like 15% of the cost of everything, lol.

I'm young, semi young 22, almost 23 and I can say this I spend way more money on food than I do gear. my first and second cycle (pending) combined equal my food for 1.5 months. But I eat 3800min. Some of us that are young work, and work smart. I run a small business, go to school full time (using my post 9-11 from the military) and do any side work anyone ever offers me. Give the guy credit for the balls but not a very bright kid.
