Red face What are your favorite Thanksgiving Foods?

    My favorites:

Easy as hell make. Bake some potatoes, take them out, open then up a bit, cover with gruyere cheese, bake till the cheese melts and starts to brown. I then add some chives and sour cream.

edit: CANT POST PICS SORRY, use google

    Pumpkin Pie!

    (just buy mine )

In addition to the traditional Thanksgiving cuisine, the Italian side of my family always makes stuffed shells, lasagne, and meatballs for turkey day.

You ever tried frying one? I want to give that a go one of these days. Heard its a surefire way of a tasty juicy bird but you have to do it outside for obvious reasons...

Funny you mention that. We were talking about that the other day and might give it a try this year.

You actually can dry out a turkey real bad by frying it. Theres tips and tricks tho.... wrapping it in foil while frying helps keep the skin from burning.

Patrick, Yes, this was the name of the free range, organic raised Turkey we got here in Germany last year. Best Turkey I have EVER had, hands down.

    Thanks

I guess it would be smoked turkey. We usually brine a couple of birds and cook them in the smoker using charcoal, hickory, and a tad of wet pecan shells.
Generally(as usual), I annoy/amuse the wife because when the turkeys are done I'm ready to eat....forget the side dishes, etc. I just donkey punch the turkeys and rip off a hunk.....lather, rinse, and repeat until temporarily full.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...
