I know they can cause death by causing a blood clot but if I take them correctly and in a way that reduces the risks of dying then I suppose I'd be fine, anyone can die at any minute, you can die in many ways easily at any time so if the risks are small then you shouldn't really worry about it.
But does steroids guarantee to reduce your life potential? Just like unhealthy eating would give you 10 years less to live and smokers usually die younger than non smokers. It might not kill you instantly but if you were to take them and then 40 years later you died at 60 years old because of steroids, it wouldn't make it worth it.
I know Mr olympia level bodybuilders don't usually die young but when they get a bit older, do they die at like 50-70 when a natural bodybuilder would live to 80-100?
Am I guaranteed to lose a few years on my life span?
