That was a good fight. Was the narrator watching the same fight? Seems to me that lance is a full foot shorter, giving pedro a huge reach and leverage advantage. He also kept saying things like 'effortlessly' and 'controlling, controls' etc. I didn't see a lot of control from either of them nor did it look effortless.

I smell marketing piece for jja.

Lol. That's cool. I guess he could see what was going on then

I didn't mean my comments to sound disrespectful to bjj. I've sparred with some friends who are into it. Not black belts either. Still got my a$$ handed to me while I was trying to untangle my limbs.

well BBs are not built for fighting, they are heavy and slow, a boxer relies on speed and extreme focus, mind and body. not just body. I am sure the BB will beat the boxer in hand wrestling though!

Muscles have little to do with fighting, and if to buff they r a hindrance.

It's crazy to me that people associate big muscles with toughness/fighting ability, still to this day.

This^^^^ I believe it holds true in most cases. Most people don't know how to fight. So two people who have no idea how to fight assumption is the bigger guy is gonna win. If you look at in another way some one who weighs 220 and has no idea how to fight is gonna do the same as some one who weighs 260 and has no idea how to fight.

I was a lot quicker when I was lighter. It's been a while since I've had an altercation but if it were to happen now and I wasn't able to walk away..... I'd try to wrap em up and hit the ground. I still know jiu-jitsu and my weight on the ground can be used to my advantage.

The one to be feared is the bodybuilder who also has fighting ability. Strength does matter but only if you know how to use it. I agree to has nothing to do with fighting ability.

Its pretty tough to do both. I lost size and strength when I started learning mma before the summer started. I was lifting and then doing mitt and heavy bag work for about 60 minutes after lifting. I personally found it more engaging to learn a 12 hit combination using punches, kicks, knees, elbows etc then maxing out on a lift.

Forget it. If that body builder took a front kick to the quad at about 30-40% from a pro mma fighter he would ****ing fall to the ground in so much pain. One kick can end a fights when people have no training.
