Thread: Start HCG?

    Start HCG?

Hi, I have heard mixed thoughts about taking HCG while on cycle. I am on week 5 of my cycle which is test e @700 for 14 weeks, deca @ 500 for 12 weeks, and just finishing d-bol @50 mg. I was going to wait until I had 2 weeks left of my cycle to start taking HCG and then take it up until pct began, but I have been hearing more recommendations to take it throughout cycle. Should I start now at 5 weeks in? If so, what would you recommend dose-wise?

    Thanks in advance

hCG should be taken during the cycle. you're 22, with cycle like this (and not knowing what you're doing) I am sure you'll end up on TRT before you reach 25. good luck.

I feel sort of pot committed, I am already almost halfway through. I understand that people on here just want to help, but I want the truth and no more. Is it that likely that this cycle with a proper pct will mess me up in the long run? (assuming I do not run again until I am older.)

    Dixie,

That is impossible to predict. Two guys the same age running the same cycle could have very different outcomes WRT recovery. No one can guarantee you will recover normally nor can they guarantee you won't. Everyone's physiology is unique and there are any number of factors that can affect recovery.

Shutting your neuroendocrine system down before it has finished developing carries risks. Are those risks the same for everyone? Of course not. Will you be one of the many guys who cycles and then fails to recover struggling with impotence, depression, low libido, and more? Perhaps, perhaps not. It's a risk you've chosen to accept, but keep in mind we get a lot of guys your age with the same belief that it wont happen to them, coming back shortly after their cycle asking for help to fix problems that may be permanent without a life time of hormone therapy.

I myself ran two cycles young recovered fine the first time
Second cycle well I shut down hard low libido ED low energy depression etc. I'm still struggling and its almost been two years. I was not educated at all I was just injecting stuff into my body. So hopefully you recover fine.

I appreciate the honesty from both of you. My levels were already on the lower side before starting (399) and struggling quite a bit already from depression and low libido. Part of the reason I think I did the cycle in the first place was to see if my lower t levels were responsible. I recovered from an opiate addiction and it had some affect on my test levels already. I will be seeing an endo soon anyway but until then what dosage of hcg is recommended?

Try 500 iu eod would be my suggestion, but I would seek opinions from people more experienced than myself if I were you. Should've been planned prior to starting though for sure.

I agree fully, and I did have a plan if it counts for anything, I'm just realizing the plan might have been flawed.

Don't do 500 i.u.'s eod ever. There's really no situation where that's appropriate protocol. If your 1/2 way through your cycle and intend on continuing to the end do 250 twice or possibly 3 times a week right up to the day before PCT. Good luck!
