    Creatine cycling question

I have ran one cycle and going to run another one soon. During that off period regardless of cycle history is creatine really a good supp to take. I only really take it for the extra weight but of course this weight is all water which I usually hold an extra 7 pounds or water. I look more full but the problem is I don't look hard. If I stop taking creatine with two weeks I will look noticeable smaller but more defined. Besides the extra strength you get from creatine is it worth taking and if so how long should I cycle it? Sometimes I cycle creatine for 3-4 moths straight at 5gs a day before I take 2 to 4 weeks off. I do get plenty of red meat in and creatine levels always show high on blood work

I guess I should clarify when in start of that post when I say I ran one cycle I am referring to running gear and not creatine

Run a search and read: Thread: Creatine FAQ

It looks like there is no reason to cycle Creatine. I started adding some to my pre-workout drink a couple of weeks ago; but I don't really notice much difference. I'd like to think the added water weight is what is making me look puffy, but I'm afraid its just Thanksgiving leftovers.

Unless you need to drop water weight to make class or get dry and ripped there's no specific reason to stop creatine supplementation unless you don't have the money or just don't want to use it. It's an incredibly safe and effective OTC supplement, probably the most effective outside whey protein.

You're friends with the owner?? I love that site and totally recommend it also. My brother was the one to put me on to it. Looking at the contributors to the site several big names pop up.

Thank you for that site tip. Very difficult to find good review sites on this sort of stuff.

    Thanks

I used creatine monohydrate every day, 5g a day, for almost 2 years straight when I was working out 5-6 days a week and annual blood work and such was good. No need to cycle.

The way your doing your CRATINE is fine. Run it a few months and take a month or so off.
