I'd rather buy another bike to build.

My boss collected watches. Very very expensive watches. He called them time pieces lol - I never stopped makin fun of him for it but I must say..... The man knew his shit.

I cant stand to wear ANY jewelry myself and I would never spend that kind of $ on a watch but everyone has THIER thing. Just thinking how many hookers that would buy![]()

I've got my eye on this one.. check out the vid.. gets interesting around 1:15..
muuuuch cheaper too![]()
That's me too! I can't stand to wear any jewelry at allOriginally Posted by Lunk1
Yeah everyone values things differently. I see folks with million dollar homes, and a datsun B210 parked in the driveway, others have a platinum escalade parked in front of a doublewide.
I don't like jewelry. But a watch is a watch. No necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, etc... for me.

i like this one: Daytona
might be around the same price. but i just like to look at it. no way am i ever considering buying it.
ooh that's pretty.
This is the only watch I'd ever own..... :-)
Hahahahaha
What do you guys do with the expensive auto watches? Keep them on a winder? Or reset them each time you wear them?
A watch winder is usually recommended but not required; helps to keep the synthetic oil from not sticking from what I have read and keeps the watch on time, if you don't use it as often. Regardless, you can reset the time manually and wound it manually too. I bought a winder when I started my collection though.
Ya I got a winder too. But not for rolexes. Its for my seikos lol. One kinetic and one automatic. I just can't get used to the fact that watches (time pieces) that cost as much as a car need to be reset every time I pick it up. My latest seiko is a solar. So I leave it on the shelf.![]()
Not a watch man myself. Does not excite me to no what the time is. I do however like gold chains. Like a nice wog chain.
Check out NOA watches. I'm really into the Spy NOA Watches
Holy crap I was given one for my birthday and I LOVE it. I just found another online i really want it but cant really justify buying it for myself when I have others to buy gifts for first.
I can't see the original photo! I love watches.
Watch winders are a good idea. I left my breguet out of a watch winder for a year, and it was like buying another watch to get it properly serviced when it didn't run properly any more.
