    gym shoes?

    So gym shoes have been mentioned several times lately and im interested on anyones advice. I know theres diffrent ones for deads and squats. But are they worth buying? Are they affective?

    For me its average tennis shoes for everything except deadlifts and squats, which I do in my socks. Works for me.

    WTF? haha just wear shoes man. On occasion circumstances not permitting I have worked out in flip flops and steal toe work boots.

    I'm sure they're effective if you're a competitive powerlifter. I just use an old, but comfortable pair of running shoes when I go to the gym.

    I think it's kinda stupid when I see these kids take their shoes off to do powerlifting moves.
