    Diet advise, medication

Hey bros, I have a question that I'm not sure where to post or if anyone has an answer. I've done research myself and have been coming up with nothing.

Three years ago I had to start taking Lithium, Seroquel, and Lamictal. In the following two months with no diet change I gained 25 pounds of fat. Since then I have taken some off and bulked up quite a bit. I am still trying new diets and techniques but losing fat seems near impossible. I think it might have to do with the medication affecting my metabolism. Does anyone have any insight/ advise or comments? And not taking them isnt a smart option. Thanks!

well those drugs have some nasty sides. talk to your doc and see if he can prescribe something else with less sides. at this point diet and exercise is your best option. list your stats and diet along with your activates to see if there is room for adjustment.

    22 years old
    Lithium 1200 mg day
    Seroquel 100 mg day
    Lamictal 100 mg day
    5'10" 220 lbs 17% bf?
Weight train 5 days a week
    30 min cardio 2x week
Coach wrestling practice 2x week (30 min live)

Diet is still work in progress- I've been watching your diet videos bass- but something like this:

    Breakfast
In blender: 1 scoop protein powder, 1/2 cup oats, 2tbs natty peanut butter, 2 raw eggs and milk

    Lunch
2 chicken breasts, brown rice and quinoa, veggies

1 or 2 snacks in the day
Nuts, lunch meat, protein drink or something of the likes

    Dinner
    Steak or fish with veggies

I take creatine, bcaa's, preworkout, multi vitamin, fish oil, glucosamine and condroitin, and the meds listed above.

I try to just eat clen and not be hungry. And like I said I am learning from your videos but I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to minimize the effects that the medication has on me. It is still possible, just tedious. And up can probably see about taking seroquel out and replacing it but the others need to stay. If I lose what they give me weight loss will be the last of my worries.

    Much appreciated

Yes, me. 6'2", 91kg, 20ish % due to injury and lack of training. Once injury is sorted I'll be aiming for 100kg <14%; energy levels are a big issue.

Get your thyroid checked, Li. is hard on them and drops the levels.

Feel free to PM this one, but what can you tell me about your disorder? I might be able to be more specific or help with some reading material.

    Also:
    - Do you work full time?
    - How are your general energy levels/coordination?
    - Have AAS ever triggered an episode for you?
