Been talking with a few people here and there that swear by proper use and since I've finally got back into lifting, I figured I'd check a few things out and see how other people are doing.
Long story short, always been chubby/decent build, got into lifting a few years back, lost a lot of weight/put on decent muscle mass, hit a bit of a plateau and eventually got lazy and am pretty out of shape at the moment. Just seeing what all is out there for benefits/negatives and once I'm done with my easy beginner gains for the next year or so possibly look into something more. 24 now and like everyone want to look good/get bigger, seeing what the options are.
Started at ~240, got down to 200, now I'm floating a little under 220, if I can get down to 170 or so (whatever weight to see some abs for the first time in my life) without any help and sticking with eating right/lifting, see how I feel afterwards and then consider additional supplementation. Pretty much thinking all of 2014 I'll be "clean", and see where I go from there.
Tried a few diets here and there and so far I've liked the iifym style the best, currently just lifting to get everything somewhat back in shape, will be starting the real work after new years like every other average joe.
