For someone cutting with a shitty slow metabolism, is it better to have lower carbs and higher fat than someone with a higher metabolism(an ectomorph)?
IMO it's really not a matter of body type or even metabolism as a whole, but rather, how each individual responds to carbs and fats. Some do well on a higher carb/lower fat diet, and vice versa. You'd have to experiment to find what works best for you. Personally, I'd start at a moderate to high protein, moderate carb, low fat intake and adjust from there as needed.
