Yes it's possible. Dosage, type of anabolic, and duration in addition to preexisting health of remaining kidney would be primary relevant factors; secondary considerations would be required as well.

What is you objective in using steroids? Are you concerned about low testosterone? Have your current hormone levels been tested?

There is always a risk when using high amounts of aas, however this may not be a factor if used for TRT at low does. prior to TRT my kidney functions were always in the red zone, but now on TRT for more than 3 years my readings are almost always in normal zone. it really depends on how your body reacts to aas.

I don't know that any steroids directly strain/damage your kidneys. However, we all know that hypertension is damaging, as is an excess of protein.
As long as you manage your blood pressure properly (I recommend lisinopril) and stick to a balanced diet without abusing protein shakes, there shouldn't be an issue.

Oh, and Tren and orals tend to be the hardest on your BP, kidneys, etc. So I'd avoid those.

I would avoid the anadrol 50 altogether, just focus on raising your test levels. I am sure the Dr could give you a test to see what your testosterone levels are!

If your test is low, why not start by bringing your levels up with TRT? Clearly you started this thread due to concerns about risks to kidney function. Why take unnecessary risks now when you may actually feel better and see changes with a simple TRT protocol. You haven't even given yourself a chance to see what improvements can be achieved by normalizing your testosterone levels with TRT.

Personally, I think you should address the low T and once those levels are higher and stable, develop and stick to a nutrition plan suited for your goals, train consistently for at least a year with these stable testosterone levels and then see where you are at.

I guarantee with higher, stable testosterone levels combined with an appropriate nutrition plan and consistent training, you will see improvements. After a year of that, you may find yourself satisfied with your fitness and health milestones that you decide there is no need for additional gear.

    Crawl before you run.

You're welcome. Getting your testosterone levels raised will make a big difference in a lot of areas.

Good luck. Keep us informed on your progress.

There's also a great TRT sub forum on the board with knowledgable members and a great database of information. You might find that of value as well.
