I skipped the gym tonight for the first time in a couple months, last night I did legs which suck when you can't squat, will never be the same. This is what I did, simple.
6 sets leg extensions
6 sets leg curls
4 sets leg presses
I worked the quads and hams pretty hard, basically to failure, any thoughts on other exercises I could add to that wouldn't stress the lower back?
Waited for the seated calf press machine to be free for 30 minutes but this idiot just did bullshit set after set plus it was crazy packed so I planned on doing calves tonight, I will do them in the morning.
Had no idea about the details of your injury, buy it's great that you're back.in the gym. I think you'll find that leg press to be your friend. Just keep your back and your butt glued to the seat.
Are hack squats on an incline leg press or hack machine an option?
