Do you normally have 1 or 2 scoops? Maybe a pint? More... ?
This isn't a macro-nutrient/calorie discussion. Just curios how much volume you consume in a sitting.

When I do have it at home, I'll have a couple scoops. If I happen to get a cone while out with the kids, I'll get a single scoop
How much do you have??
Whatever is in the tub. It's a well known fact that ice cream is only good for one sitting. If you put it back in the freezer it goes off within hours.

I'm an ice cream fiend. I can't keep it in the house.... If I do I'll have a pint in a sitting. If I go get some with my daughter I'm good for the large bowl with a bunch of toppings.
I've been paying at the grocery store and have ppl said "that must be for someone else you don't look like you eat that" then I tell em it's for me and they say "I resent that...... Ill gain 10lbs from looking at that and ur eating it"
I hate this thread..... I want ice cream now lol
just had steak, im gonna go grab ice cream thanks for reminding me lolol
When I was a fat azz I would take half gallon put chocolate ice cream in salad bowl mix it with milk and away it goes -- eat a whole half gallon in a sitting probably way couple years ago doctor said I was diabetic

I eat as much as I can fit into a normal sized bowl without overflowing it too bad and making a mess.
I'm lactose intolerant, so just one scoop.![]()

Cool. I had a pint of ice-cream at work the other day and everyone made fun of me for eating so much. I don't eat ice cream daily, but when I do, it's usually a pint. I figure that's pretty normal.

Depends but I can eat a whole pint in no time
You're all fat asses.
My wife called me old the other day because She was picking up ice cream for the kids and I asked her to grab some neapolitan for me.
I love a good Pistachio
I don't always eat ice cream but when I do I normally make a complete pig out of myself.
Stay hungry my friends.
This used to be my favorite..... Until they discontinued it

I've never met a bowl of ice cream I didn't like.
I'll usually eat a cup if I go out and get ice cream with the kids.
At home we buy frozen yogurt. I'll eat maybe a pint a month at home.
Publix frozen yogurt rules.
I've looked for guidelines on the container restricting the amount one should consume at any one sitting. I've never found any such limits, so I interpreted that to mean that once the lid comes off, you continue until you reach the bottom of the container.
.....and until I see of such restrictions, that will continue to be my SOP for ice cream.
(Correction: I actually eat frozen yogurt, not ice cream, rationalizing that the protein content is higher and better for you).
Here's a problem for you to solve. If Johnny has 7 pints of ice cream but eats 3 pints of ice cream. What does Johnny have?
Answer?
.......Johnny has diabetes. Lol
One pint seems to be "just enough" - it doesn't look like much to me lol but everyone around me eats half haha
Lmao you guys make me feel normal :-)Originally Posted by Sgt. Hartman
1 to 2 teaspoons...
self control is a must
I work for a major grocery chain dairy. We make Ice Cream 6 days a week 50 weeks a year.... it gets old quickly.
PS: We make frozen yogurt too... If you buy either buy the premium brands... most ice cream only has the very minimum butterfat allowed by law.
Premium brands (includes store brands) have 16% - 25%
