When would be a good time to toss in a pure isometric training day into lifting program? Once every 6 weeks? Sooner? Later?
When you are in prison and/or have no access to real weights.
The only time I would consider using isometric work is for overcoming a sticking point on a lift. Isometrics can work for this but that's about it IMO.
