Hey everyone,
I've been browsing these forums and similar ones for a few weeks now, just reading and educating myself. I've decided it's time to actually become an active member of this forum, as I could provide benefits to others just as this forum has benefitted myself.
I'll start with the basics, I'm a 21-year-old undergrad studying Medicinal Chemistry. Anabolics and any performance enhancing chemicals have been intriguing to me ever since I watched the Bourne Identity as a kid, but it wasn't until I acquired the chemistry background knowledge that I realized I could really apply myself to this.
Training Experience
I've lifted on and off since about 16. Throughout high school I was a twig, 5'11" 145lbs when I graduated. I wasn't satisfied with my physique but I'm an ectomorph so I had a hard time consuming enough calories to put on any real gains, so I was discouraged. As a result, I never stuck to a strict diet or workout schedule, so I've stayed around 145 since. However, my co-worker (I also work in a biochem lab) does personal training as a second job, and he was nice enough to evaluate me and give me a diet/workout/supplement plan. For the dieting, I aim for 3000 calories a day. I now eat complex carbs instead of simple whenever possible, consume 300-350g protein per day, and I load up on the fruits and veggies. It's hard to keep a balanced diet being a busy student, and I'm always open to advice on what to eat between classes to keep my nutrient levels optimal. I don't plan on starting an AAS cycle anytime soon, but I will most definitely consider it when I find a diet/ workout plan that allows me to reach my natural limit. However, I'm very interested in starting a peptide cycle after I do further research and save some money up.
So, I basically joined this forum to give input on any questions pertaining to the chemistry aspects of AAS and peptides, as well as learn some myself. I'm currently experimenting with some AAS compounds in my personal lab (Not for human use. Synthesis and characterization), and as I said I'm a junior in Med Chem so I have a bit of experience and could provide a "semi-professional" opinion on topics.
Feel free to PM me about anything.
You can expect to see me around the forums now that I feel I've properly introduced myself.
